Pick up from hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley and transfer to a community in Pisac, where we will learn how to harvest some products of the season and help cook a traditional meal “Pachamanca”. Meanwhile lunch is being made, we will visit a lake nearby.

Day 1Hands-on-Experience Cusco
You will be picked up from your hotel and be taken to Pisac, 35 minutes from Cusco City, where we will be hosted by a local family ready to share with us their knowledge. Do you know how Quinoa is harvest? Potato? We will have a demonstration of how to do so, if you wish you can take part yourself. Also, prepare a lunch (traditional Pachamanca), which literally means “ground pot”. We will also enjoy a little hike of one hour to a nearby lake. We will take you back to your hotel after lunch.
