2Day Cultural Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

You will be picked up from your hotel and be taken to Pisac Town, only 30 minutes from the City of Cusco. You can stop at the local artisanal market and walk around this lovely town to gather some snacks and water if wished. Then you continue to the Archeological site located only a few minutes up. From there you can see the wonderful valley and terraces. After that, we will move onto your local family in the community of Amaru, where you will have lunch with them. This will be your resting place for the day. Besides lunch, you can also have workshops about medicinal plants found in the area, how they do their own ceramics, and also textiles. You can either use the home-stay option or a hotel in the town.

In the early morning after breakfast and a good cup of Coca Tea, we continue our journey through the Valley in direction of Ollantaytambo via Urubamba, where you will take your Local Train to Aguas Calientes town to your visit to Machu Picchu. Here you will have your guide ready to show you this Wonder of the World. You then will take the train back to Cusco city. End of tour.
